We are pleased to launch the assessment for the Governance Index for Trusts (GIFT) for 2021, with the support of the Singapore Exchange. This will be the fifth edition of GIFT. We are targeting to release the latest report and ranking in October 2021.
REITs and business trusts will shortly be contacted to participate in the self-assessment which we will take into account in our assessment. In each of the past two years, more than 75% of trusts have participated in the self-assessment and we look forward to their active participation again this year.
There are only minor changes in the scoring guidelines for this year. The 2021 scoring guidelines are available for download here.
