New Report on Whistleblowing Policies of SGX-Listed Issuers by Centre for Investor Protection

On 27 February, the Centre for Investor Protection at NUS Business School released a new report titled “Will You Listen?”. This report is the first-ever in-depth study of whistleblowing policies in Singapore and examines the whistleblowing policies of 536 issuers with a primary listing on SGX, using information from their latest annual and sustainability reports, and corporate websites. Disclosures by these issuers on their whistleblowing policies and evaluated against SGX requirements and good practices. The findings suggest significant gaps in compliance with SGX requirements and good practices.
