I believe that SGX and other regulators need to examine whether the disclosure and accounting practices of Noble, and the actions of directors and key officers, have complied with listing requirements, securities laws and other regulation. Investors and observers around the world are watching to see if our actions match our reputation.

Its results and deal announcements seem to contain incredulous numbers and information gaps.

SGX has a responsibility to look beyond the interests of its own shareholders and consider the interests of other stakeholders. An important group of stakeholders are investors in companies listed on SGX.
